Aubrey lost her father in 2016. Yet, she was able to continue studying in high school because of her Hungry Minds scholarship. This summer, Aubrey worked in Sta. Ana Hospital in Manila as part of the Special Program for Employment of Students. She learned how to interact with patients and their families. She intends to use the money she earned to buy a second-hand laptop that she can use in school. Aubrey looks forward to starting 12th Grade in June!
