In June 2004, Hungry Minds welcomed 28 Grade 4 students in its first school in Makati. Two years later, it opened it second school in Malolos, Bulacan with 30 children from a resettlement community in Bangkal.

Today, Hungry Minds has served more than 800 scholars and families. Most of the Hungry Minds students from early batches have stable jobs and are helping support their families.
