Lack of devices and access to stable internet connections affected many Hungry Minds scholars and even educators’ ability to adapt to online learning.
Hungry Minds aims to ensure high quality education is provided to its scholars even during pandemic. The goal is to facilitate continuous learning process despite the challenges in distance and technology.
Thanks to Hungry Minds partners and friends, we were able to provide learning devices, pocket wi-fi devices and internet allowances to its learners. This helped ensure a more stable teaching and learning experience for our scholars and educators.
A Hungry Minds 6th grader wrote in her letter to one of Hungry Minds partners: “I am very grateful because I received a new tablet for my online classes. Before, I was using a phone but the screen was too small. I had difficulty using it. I now feel comfortable using my tablet. I don’t have a problem editing my projects and submitting the tasks assigned to us.”
