Last November 14, 2013, Food for Hungry Minds welcomes GE Capital Retail Bank leaders and its client, JC Penney, to Hungry Minds School in Pasay.
Aside from visiting the school to know more about Hungry Minds and its program, GE and JC Penney conducted a storytelling activity among Hungry Minds students.
Based on the novel by Kate DiCamillo entitled “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane”, Hungry Minds students enjoyed listening as they learn about the journey of a china rabbit named Edward who got lost after being separated from his owner.
After the storytelling activity, GE and JC Penney also donated school supplies and several children’s books including Lois Lowry’s Number the Stars and Judy Blume’s Tales of a Fourth Grade nothing among others.
Thank you, GE and JC Penney!
