Last May 19-20, 2023, Hungry Minds teachers attended the Frontiers and Innovation In Teaching (FITCON) 2023 at Xavier School in San Juan. FITCON aims to help educators be informed and up-to-date with the important conversations about education, students and pedagogy. This year's conference focused on the value of social-emotional learning (SEL) in education. The theme, "Understanding the SEL(f) Nurturing the Neglected Piece in Education," aims to provide educators with knowledge and skills in integrating SEL in the curriculum and in school programs.
