Hungry Minds U.S. Board oversees international operations of Food for Hungry Minds, supporting the organization’s strategic growth, academic goals, and commitment to delivering high-quality programs across all regions. To ensure global donors that educational and operational standards are consistently met,
the international organization undergoes regular financial and academic reporting.
Board members also conduct onsite visits to local Food for Hungry Minds programs, providing firsthand insight into their progress and impact. In collaboration with regional boards, the U.S. Board helps guide the development of new initiatives, supports staff and program development, and promotes long-term financial and operational sustainability.
Representing corporate partners, global donors, and respected educators, Board members uphold the values of professionalism, transparency, and accountability—ensuring the mission of Food for Hungry Minds remains strong and impactful worldwide.
Philippine Board
Food for Hungry Minds School is a non-government organization (NGO) registered in the Philippines and accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). It is governed by the Philippine Board, which operates in alignment with the shared mission and goals of the global Food for Hungry Minds organization.
The Board is responsible for developing local policies, hiring staff, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Food for Hungry Minds schools across the country—all in pursuit of addressing long-standing challenges in Philippine education.
The Board includes representatives from key partners who help make the mission possible: supporting companies, donors, educators, and community development organizations. Regular academic and financial reports are submitted to the international Food for Hungry Minds organization, incorporated in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability.
