2006: A young boy from the resettlement community of Bangkal in Malolos, Bulacan dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian.
2019: With his hard work, the support of his family, and the help of the Hungry Minds community, the boy, now a young man, graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine at Central Luzon State University. He passed the licensure exam shortly afterwards.
Today, Maynard Villamil, DVM is the Resident Veterinarian in several branches of an animal clinic in Bulacan. He helps his family and supports current Hungry Minds scholars.
